The first PHN Cooperative Data and Digital Showcase will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney on 5-7 August 2025, hosted by Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network.

The three themes are Data, Digital and Insights.

The showcase is an opportunity for primary health networks to come together to share their successes and learnings. The showcase will be a combination of plenary sessions and panels and Q&A sessions, as well as small group sessions and workshops, demonstrations and walkthroughs.

Day 1 of the showcase – Tuesday, 5 August – will be live streamed on the Data and Digital Showcase website. Hear from Keynote Speaker Simon Kuestenmacher, the Cofounder and Director of The Demographics Group, before the first plenary on ‘The forefront of health informatics’. At noon, the second plenary will delve into ‘data integration and interoperability’. In the afternoon, PHN staff will present on the national primary and acute care data linkage project, improving regional population health management and the development of the POLAR hepatitis C report. Finally, Isabelle Whitington from the Australian Bureau of Statistic’s social media team will end the day with an interactive presentation on how to tell an engaging story with data.
