Join us for an enriching evening of learning and networking focused on the early recognition and practical assessment of dementia. Designed for primary care and aged care professionals, this session will strengthen your confidence in identifying early cognitive changes, selecting appropriate diagnostic tools, and navigating local referral pathways and supports.

Led by Dr Stephanie Armstrong, Senior Staff Specialist Geriatrician and Head of the Department of Geriatrics at MLHD, and Elizabeth McRae, Community Aged Care Social Worker at MLHD, this interactive session brings together clinical insight and real-world community knowledge to support best practice care.

  • Diagnostic tools available and when to use them

  • Understanding community resources and referral pathways

  • Practical tips you can apply immediately in clinical settings
