Heaps Decent Music Production Session – Bland Shire Council
Heaps Decent will deliver a full-day music production program at the Bland Shire Youth Centre in West Wyalong, creating a safe, creative space for young people to connect, learn and express themselves.
The program will run from 9:00am to 4:30pm and will be delivered across three two-hour sessions. Sessions will be small and supported, with groups of up to seven participants per Heaps Decent facilitator to ensure meaningful engagement and personalised support.
A total of 42 students aged 13 to 18 years will take part, including 14 students from Ungarie Central School and 28 students from West Wyalong High School. Participants will be selected by their schools, focusing on young people from underrepresented and marginalised backgrounds.
Through hands-on music production, collaboration and creative expression, the program aims to strengthen wellbeing, build confidence and foster a sense of belonging and community among participants.
