'Just a Farmer' Screening – Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation

The Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation will host a special community screening of Just a Farmer, followed by a facilitated Q&A with the film’s writer and lead actor Leila McDougall, supported by local health professionals.

The event will use storytelling and shared experience to spark open conversation about mental health, particularly in rural communities. By bringing people together in a safe, community setting, the screening aims to reduce isolation, raise awareness and encourage help-seeking.

Health professionals will be present to provide information and practical resources, ensuring attendees leave feeling supported, informed and connected to local services.

The event will be held in February 2026.
