Join the disaster response register

During emergencies such as bushfires, floods, heatwaves, epidemics and major accidents, the NSW health system works with a range of partners to support community recovery and access to healthcare.

As part of its Emergency Action Plan, MPHN is establishing a register of primary healthcare providers, including pharmacies, willing to assist during emergencies.

Examples of support pharmacies may provide include:

  • Opening extended hours during an emergency.

  • Dispensing medicines to evacuation centres.

  • Providing clinical assistance to relocated residential aged care services.
