Strong communities are built when people can access the right care, information and support – and have a voice in shaping what that looks like.
Throughout 2025-2026, MPHN invested in initiatives responding directly to the needs of people across the Murrumbidgee. From listening to communities and strengthening prevention to improving mental health, women’s health, healthy ageing, First Nations health and suicide prevention, the focus was on making care more accessible, connected and responsive.
Together, these investments put local needs, voices and outcomes at the centre of healthier communities.
We acknowledge and pay respects to the traditional owners of the lands on which MPHN operates; the Wiradjuri, Nari Nari, Wemba Wemba, Perepa Perepa, Yorta Yorta, Ngunnawal, Ngarigo, Bangerang and Yitha Yitha Nations. We recognise our communities are made up of many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples descended from additional mobs and clans who also call the Murrumbidgee region home.
We pay respect to elders past, present and future and recognise these lands have always been places of traditional healing and medicine, and this plays a role in shaping future health services.
