This annual full-day workshop focused on pregnancy care, is for GPs who are interested in providing shared care in pregnancy, and GPs who want an update on first trimester care. General pactice based midwives are welcome to apply to attend.

Session 1: Morning Program, 8.30am – 1.30pm

Local GP obstetricians and midwives will present the morning session, focusing on recommended ultrasound, blood testing, risks in pregnancy, and referral for booking in.

Session 2: Afternoon Update Program, 2.00 pm – 4.30pm

The update session will feature presentations on: 

• What’s new: NIPT – Testing for Rhesus Neg Women

• Clinical update on diabetes and thyroid conditions in pregnancy

• Pregnancy priorities after bariatric surgery
