Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is excited to take part in the NSW Regional Rainbow Forum, Connection in Action, hosted by ACON. The forum brings together community leaders, health organisations, local government and lived experience voices to help strengthen conversations about inclusive, safe and responsive healthcare for LGBTQ+ people living in regional communities.

  • As part of the program, MPHN will deliver a presentation on the LGBTQ+ Health Needs Assessment, providing an overview of key findings and local insights to help inform more inclusive service planning and delivery across the Murrumbidgee.

  • MPHN will also present on the introduction and role of the MPHN Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to creating a more inclusive workplace culture and supporting equitable health outcomes.

The forum program includes a range of speakers and sessions focused on lived experience, regional wellbeing, workplace strategies, local pride initiatives and opportunities to turn priorities into action.

MPHN is pleased to contribute to this important event and to be part of a broader regional conversation about improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities.
