An event aimed at providing safe and accurate mental health information to young people has won the 2021 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Award for Promoting Healthy Living.

A morning tea was held on Friday 11 March 2022 to celebrate the award winners and finalists in the 2021 Primary Healthcare Awards.

Health professionals, organisations and communities are set to again be recognised for their valuable contributions to improving health outcomes in the region during the past 12 months.

Nominations for Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network’s (MPHN) annual Primary Healthcare Awards will open the week commencing 16 August 2021, with award categories including Outstanding Contribution to Leadership in Primary Healthcare, Innovation, Promoting Healthy Living, and Murrumbidgee Grant of the Year.

Berrigan Medical Centre’s Lorraine Robertson has won the 2020 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Award for Outstanding Contribution to Leadership in Primary Healthcare.

An initiative of the Deniliquin Local Health Advisory Committee (LHAC) has won the Murrumbidgee Community Grant of the Year award, as part of Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network’s (MPHN) 2020 Primary Healthcare Awards.
