Pfizer vaccine available at participating general practices
From Monday 12 July 2021, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available at several participating general practices throughout the Murrumbidgee region.
The Pfizer vaccine is currently being offered to people aged 40-59, and anybody under the age of 40 who also meets additional eligibility criteria. The vaccine is also available at Murrumbidgee region general practice respiratory clinics in Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Young, Gundagai and Deniliquin.
Workshop to develop local Mental Health Literacy activities
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) will be hosting an online Mental Health Literacy workshop on Tuesday 13 July from 10am to 1pm. The workshop is open to those with lived experience, mental health advocates and health professionals and aims to examine and finalise focus areas and develop localised activities to address mental health service and support gaps.

From Monday 5 July 2021, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available at four Murrumbidgee vaccination hubs, in Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Young and Deniliquin.

New palliative care room opens in Cootamundra
The Cootamundra community now have more options for end of life care, thanks to a new palliative care room at Adina Care. The room has been funded by Adina Care and the Cootamundra Rotary Club, with equipment donated by Shannon’s Bridge, a charitable organisation which supports families and patients living with a life limiting illness.
