Senior Manager Primary Care Engagement

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join the MPHN while we continue to grow.  The Senior Manager Primary Care Engagement is responsible for leading the team of primary care engagement staff to develop the capacity and capability of general practice and primary care providers to deliver high quality and sustainable primary care within the region. This role supports the implementation of national and local priorities ensuring initiatives are delivered to achieve the intended outcomes.

Essential Criteria  

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, social services or business administration and/or at least 5 years demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles in a relevant field.

  • A sound understanding of the Australian health system, how healthcare is delivered, funded and managed, including new and emerging models of care.

  • Ability to use systems thinking and problem-solving skills to explore a wide range of complex issues to inform the design and implementation of solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience working successfully to develop partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and communities to ensure effective service system integration. 

  • Proven ability to lead and empower teams to achieve optimal business outcomes.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a range of different audiences.
