Rural Health Outreach Fund (RHOF) Program

Rural Health Outreach Fund

The RHOF program is funded by the Department of Health and is administered in NSW by the Rural Doctors Network. Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network receives funding to provide clinics in areas of high need across regional, rural and remote communities.

The program is aimed at improving the limited access to health services for those living in regional, rural and remote areas. Medical specialists and allied health visit towns to support and work together with GPs and other local health programs and services.

Outreach medical specialists include:

  • Wagga: Rheumatology, Pain Specialist

How can the program help you?

The program provides improved access to services that previously did not exist, which results in more access to services and less travel time for regional patients. Referrals can be received for these services from your local GP
