Mental Health Services
The Murrumbidgee PHN Central Access and Navigation service provides support to community members, GPs and other service providers to help navigate the Murrumbidgee mental health system.
MapMyRecovery is a free resource connecting the Murrumbidgee community with services that provide support for mental health and drug and alcohol concerns.
Who: All ages
Cost: All services are fully funded

Location: MPHN area
Who: Residents of registered aged care facilities who have, or are at risk of developing, a mental illness
Cost: All services are fully funded

For: Young people aged 12-25 who are at risk of, or experiencing, mental health issues
Cost: All services are fully funded
Location: The Centres are located in Wagga Wagga and Griffith and provide limited outreach to other areas
Who: People aged 12-25 who are at risk of, severe mental illness, who experience considerable disadvantage when accessing (or attempting to access) services
Cost: All services are fully funded

Who: People aged 16+ who experience severe mental illness and are not being supported by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding

Wagga Women’s Health Centre offers free counselling and crisis support for women at their Wagga Wagga premises.
Suicide Prevention, Aftercare & Post-Vention
Who: People who have recently attempted suicide or those at risk of suicide and lacking support.

After Suicide Support provides emotional support and practical information for people who are supporting others impacted by suicide. How to talk about loss and where to go to for support are among what is on offer.
Alcohol and Other Drugs
The Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service hosts the Alcohol & Other Drugs program. This service is part of a larger Regional Drug & Alcohol support network.
