HNA Community Feedback
MPHN is taking the pulse on health across the Murrumbidgee region and we want to hear from consumers and carers of healthcare, and health professionals about what's working well and what's not working well.
There are three ways you can provide feedback:
HNA Community Feedback - Survey
This survey will take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. Your answers are anonymous.
Complete the HNA Community Feedback - survey by clicking the button below.
HNA Community Feedback - Mini
Aside from some demographic questions, this survey asks two specific questions about health.
What’s important to you about health?
What else could happen to improve health?
You are free to make your responses as long or short as you require. All responses are anonymous.
Conversations on the Couch
Conversations on the Couch allows people to meet with MPHN staff in a face to face environment to discuss health matters important to them. There is no set agenda or questions MPHN staff ask during these conversations. It really is simply an opportunity for people to let MPHN know about health matters important to them and their community.
We hope to see you on the couch in a town near you! The coffee is on us too!
Yarns on the Couch
Yarns on the Couch represents an extension of our Conversations on the Couch initiative, with a particular focus on addressing Aboriginal health concerns.
The emphasis is on creating a space where community members can freely express their perspectives on health issues, enabling MPHN to better understand and address the needs of the community, particularly in relation to Aboriginal health.
This feedback will be collated and used for MPHN to develop its 2022-2024 Health Needs Assessment for the Murrumbidgee region. This document will then assist MPHN in identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes for people living across the Murrumbidgee, in particular vulnerable populations.
Your thoughts, your experiences and your needs matter to us!

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is collecting this sort of information so important?
MPHN takes a person-centred approach to identifying the health needs of the people who live in its region. We value well people and resilient communities. One of the most important ways in which we measure if we have the right services in the right places at the right time is by asking people of the Murrumbidgee to give us feedback about what they need.
Primary Health Networks are commissioners of health services. At its simplest, commissioning is the process of planning, agreeing, funding and monitoring services. Central to this is the Health Needs Assessment (HNA).
