Drug and Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service (DASAS) is a free 24/7 telephone advisory service that assists all health professionals with the clinical diagnosis and management of patients who use alcohol and other drugs. 

Simply call 1800 023 687 and speak to one of our clinical nurse consultants for advice on:

  • Management of withdrawal and intoxication

  • Opioid dependence treatment

  • Treatment for alcohol dependence

  • Alcohol and other drug conditions, advice and management

You’re encouraged to call DASAS even if you’re not sure the line is right for you as your enquiry will still be directed to the right place.

Please note that this service is for health professionals only. Patients seeking information should be directed to the Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS), a free 24/7 confidential telephone service staffed by professional counsellors. The ADIS phone number is 1800 250 015.
