Asthma and COPD Medications Chart 2024

The National Asthma Council Australia has released its updated Asthma and COPD Medications Chart, an essential guide to the main types of asthma and COPD medications available in Australia, updated September 2024.

The updated version includes the addition of ICS LABAs (Bufomix Easyhaler and Salflumix Easyhalers), a list of biologic therapies for severe asthma and notes about the environmental impact of asthma treatment.

The chart can be used to support clinical decisions and patient education. It provides a visual prompt for patients to identify which inhaler they are using and can help avoid therapeutic duplication when prescribing.
