Become a Domestic and Family Violence Health Champion
Wagga Women’s Health Centre is establishing a Primary Health Champion Network for Domestic and Family Violence (D&FV) and is inviting you to join.
Becoming a champion means:
Receiving free information and training on domestic and family violence, including updates to your practice. This will cover considerations for supporting clients who present with D&FV issues.
Providing guidance on what you are seeing in your practice, helping Wagga Women’s Health Centre update their processes and strategies to support women.
The first area of discussion for the Champion Network will be referral pathways for women who have experienced non-fatal strangulation and the subsequent long-term health implications, as part of the Women’s Health NSW 'It Left No Marks' project.
