GPs invited to participate in important mental health survey
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is urging General Practitioners (GPs) to take part in a significant survey aimed at improving mental health services.
The Department of Health and Aged Care, in collaboration with Liquid Interactive, is conducting a comprehensive study to explore the challenges that GPs and practice staff face in delivering mental health care, particularly in Rural, Remote, and Metropolitan Areas (RRMA). The focus is on understanding how GPs navigate, refer to, and use digital and low-intensity mental health services and treatments, especially for patients with mild symptoms.
Your input is crucial to this research. By sharing your professional experiences and insights, you can help identify barriers and inform strategies to enhance mental health support for all Australians.
The survey is anticipated to take 10-20 minutes to complete. Participants who match the study’s requirements and complete the survey will receive a $25 gift card as a thank you.
We appreciate your participation and how it will contribute to shaping the future of mental health care provision. Please consider participating and encourage your colleagues and practice staff to do the same.
The survey will remain open until Friday 10 May 2024, or until participation targets are met.
Thank you for your support in advancing mental health care across the Murrumbidgee.
