Excellence in primary healthcare to be recognised
Four outstanding primary healthcare achievements will be recognised at the 2022 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Awards to be held on Thursday 3 November at The Range Function Centre in Wagga Wagga.
The awards recognise excellence in Innovation, Promoting Healthy Living, Murrumbidgee Community Grant of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Leadership and will again be presented in front of a live audience after two years of virtual presentations due to COVID-19.
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network Chair Dr Jodi Culbert said the awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the significant work done in primary healthcare across the region.
“All of our finalists and nominees should be congratulated for their achievements over the past year particularly in light of the ongoing challenges our communities have faced with COVID-19, and more recently the floods,” Dr Culbert said.
“These activities and individuals are making a positive and significant impact on their communities and I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all who have nominated and particularly those chosen as finalists.”
