Introducing MPHN’s new Allied Health Engagement Lead

Renelle Harrison, Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network’s new Allied Health Engagement Lead.

We are thrilled to welcome Renelle Harrison to Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) as our new Allied Health Engagement Lead.

Renelle has called Wagga Wagga home for the past 4 years, providing occupational therapy services to children and their families in private paediatric practice.

With experience across aged care, rehabilitation, community, and acute care settings, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for allied health.

Renelle is looking forward to strengthening relationships with allied health professionals across the region

“I want to help promote the role of these incredibly skilled professionals,” Renelle said.

“It would be almost impossible for any of us to go through life untouched by the impact of the allied health workforce, but their work is often less visible and less understood. I’m excited to see that change.”

Originally from a rural background, Renelle has always loved working in regional and remote communities. Earlier in her career, she provided outreach services in Dubbo and surrounding areas, reinforcing her commitment to improving healthcare access for all.

A couple of years ago, Renelle pursued further study, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health. From the very first tutorial, she knew she had found her calling, collaborating with like-minded professionals committed to driving positive change in population health and wellbeing.

Renelle is excited to step into this new role at MPHN, supporting and equipping the allied health workforce across our region.

Please join us in giving Renelle a warm welcome to the MPHN team.
