National Cancer Screening Register: integration support

The National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) has partnered with Medical Director, Best Practice and Communicare to provide GPs with real time patient screening information through the practice clinical software.

Integration with the NCSR helps GPs:

  • Access patient screening information and alerts

  • View and submit screening results

  • Facilitate bowel screening test kit completion

  • Update patient contact and demographic details

  • View program-related correspondence

  • Nominate providers and personal representatives

 

Over 3500 Australian general practices have now integrated with NCSR. Practices yet to jump on board can refer to the NCSR Primary Care Onboarding Kit, which has been thoughtfully adapted for Medical Director, Best Practice and Communicare registrants.
