'No Smoking' means 'No Vaping'

NSW Health has developed ‘No Smoking means No Vaping’ health awareness resources to increase community awareness that e-cigarette use (vaping) is banned in all smoke-free areas. This includes posters which can be displayed in any setting.

The ‘No Smoking means No Vaping’ posters cannot replace where ‘No Smoking’ signs are mandated to be displayed under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000 but can be displayed alongside the mandated signage.

The posters are available in English and translated into 10 community languages.

Resources for Aboriginal communities are also available. The Aboriginal poster includes the Journey Together Artwork developed by Mumbulla Creative for the Ministry of Health’s Tobacco and E-cigarette Control Unit. The Journey Together artwork recognises the capacity within Aboriginal communities to improve their health and the health of their mob by embarking on a journey to quitting smoking and vaping or stay smoke-free and vape-free.

The posters can be downloaded or a selection of printed copies are available to order for free on the NSW Health website: health.nsw.gov.au/tobacco/Pages/smoke-free-resources.aspx.
