A conversation with Dr Stephen Duckett

Dr Stephen Duckett of the Grattan Institute will be addressing primary healthcare professionals of the Murrumbidgee region; speaking on the future of primary care, social determinates of health, and equity in healthcare.

Thursday 26 October, 1–2pm at Wagga Wagga City Council Chambers.

Dr Duckett is director of the health program at the Melbourne-based think tank, Grattan Institute. He has a reputation for creativity, evidence-based innovation and reform in areas ranging from the introduction of activity-based funding for hospitals, to new systems of accountability for the safety of hospital care. An economist, he is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. 

Entry is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Wagga Wagga and Region Suicide Prevention Network.
