Intellectual Disability and Early Planning: Psychiatry and Guardianship Considerations
People with Intellectual Disability are often assessed as requiring support with decision-making, guardianship through to informal decision-making roles. It is often challenging to decipher the disability and the level of support or substitute decision making required. In this presentation we discuss substitute decision making, as well as the role GP’s have in supporting the process.
