The moments you spend with her matter: supporting women to have alcohol-free pregnancies
The National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Australian guidelines to reduce health risks from drinking alcohol (the Alcohol Guidelines), advise that women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy should not drink alcohol.
This webinar will provide evidence about the risks of drinking alcohol during pregnancy, the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure and will provide insight into the impact of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) on people’s lives.
Through the webinar, GPs will develop a range of tools and strategies to have regular, best-practice conversations about alcohol with patients who are pregnant or trying to conceive.
