The University of Sydney: Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC)

If you are a general practitioner, other medical practitioner or nurse practitioner interested in completing the Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC), please join us for the first session of 2024 on Saturday, 24th February in Wagga Wagga. . This 1-day course is geared towards medical practitioners (particularly GPs) and nurse practitioners who practice in NSW and would like to learn more about opioid pharmacotherapies for treating opioid dependence. Leading the session will be Dr Hester Wilson, Chair of RACGP’s Specific Interest Group in Addiction & Clinical Director of Drug and Alcohol in Murrumbidgee LHD.

 When: 24 February 2024 at 9:00am – 4:30pm

Topic: Learning about opioid agonist treatment in NSW, the course is of particular interest for prescribers seeking to learn more or become accredited to provide opioid pharmacotherapies for opioid dependence in NSW.
