Complications following medical abortion are rare and do not need to cause unnecessary stress to clinicians. 

This webinar will help participants gain confidence in managing issues, understanding how and when to investigate, refer and provide timely follow up. 

We will discuss topics such as:

• Bleeding

• Infection

• Retained products

• Wellbeing and contraception following abortion

About the presenter

Dr Lucy Cho is a Medical Officer at FPA and the Medical Lead for the SEARCH Project. With over 10 years’ experience in reproductive and sexual health, she is passionate about breaking down barriers to health care and the autonomy of the individual.
