Chronic Conditions of the Foot

The Chronic Conditions of the Foot program aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to recognise general foot conditons, determine foot care requirements, and prepare and use basic equipment and medications for those people not requiring services of a professional podiatrist in a range of residential and community service contexts. The program provides the student with the opportunity to gain or consolidate knowledge and skills in basic foot care assessment management and referral.

The Program is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Health under the Chronic Disease Support Project.
