Region wide commitment to suicide and critical incident support

Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Member for Riverina, The Hon Michael McCormack MP, together with the region’s first responders, mental health agencies, local government representatives, and the Department of Education, today signed a formal Statement of Commitment to providing a coordinated approach to suicide prevention and postvention supports across the Murrumbidgee region.

Help prioritise West Wyalong’s health needs

The West Wyalong community is being asked to prioritise local health needs at a community meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 29 October at 6pm at the West Wyalong Country Club.

It’s part of a joint community-led project between the West Wyalong community, MPHN and Murrumbidgee Local Health District and comes after a recent presentation by and to the community about the identified health needs of the region.
